Pedro Baptista

Operations Manager

Pedro grew up in Twin Falls. From a young age, he developed a passion for technology. As a teenager, he spent his time tinkering with and optimizing computers to enhance his gaming experience. That hobby evolved into a career in 2005 when he joined Dell Computers, where he honed his skills troubleshooting and repairing up to 25 computers a day. Over the course of five years, he gained extensive technical expertise before joining the TruLeap team in 2010. In 2015, he played a key role in launching the company’s Business Division.
With a deep enthusiasm for technology and continuous learning, Pedro enjoys exploring emerging trends, particularly in cryptocurrency. Outside of work, he can often be found riding his Harley Forty-Eight Sportster, training in Jiu Jitsu, and strategizing for Fantasy Football. A devoted 49ers fan, he embraces the excitement of football season. He currently resides in Twin Falls with his wife, Josi, and their four dogs. In his downtime, he enjoys watching Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and Billions.

Bob Kraut

General Manager

With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Bob Kraut is currently the General Manager of TruLeap Technologies located in Filer, Idaho. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations, as TruLeap serves customers in and around the Filer and Twin Falls areas as well Jackpot in Northern Nevada. Bob began his career in Telecommunications as Accounting Manager in Montrose, IL and progressively advanced to his current GM role with TruLeap and SimplicIT. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1992 and his CPA Certification in 2000. His background in telecommunications includes Controller and CFO positions and a stint as the Regulatory Accounting Manager at Hawaiian Telcom in Honolulu, HI. His passion is creating a team environment at work, to allow each member of the team to leverage his/her skillset; and to capture opportunities and achieve growth to create an organization that will stand the test of time. Bob enjoys golfing and finding time to make smoked Tri-Tip and smoked tenderloin on the weekends.  He is also always willing to share his most recent batch of “Cowboy Candy” with anyone brave enough to try it.

Nick Wilson

IT Manager

Nick grew up in the Twin Falls area. He's always had a passion for tech. He first started his career doing residential support and quickly moved into supporting enterprise customer's servers and backup solutions. Nick joined the TruLeap team in 2008 and was instrumental in the start-up of the Business Division in 2015. He is passionate about his work and always strives to learn more in the rapid-paced world of tech. Over the years, Nick has certified in CompTIA A+, Cisco's CCDP, CCNP: Routing & Switching, and CCNA: Data Center. Currently, Nick is working toward several Microsoft certifications and his CCNP: Service Provider.
In his free time, he enjoys expanding his knowledge and spending time with his wife and children. When he's not at work or enjoying family time, he can often be found unwinding with his favorite shows, including Bob’s Burgers, Mr. D, Silicon Valley, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Jason, a fourth-generation Idahoan, has always been drawn to the world of entertainment and storytelling. With a background as a radio DJ, musician, comedian, and writer, he has spent years captivating audiences in various creative roles. Now, he brings that same energy and passion to the technology industry. Whether sharing one of his countless rock and roll stories or helping customers navigate their I.T. needs, he is always ready to connect and provide solutions. At TruLeap Technologies, he is dedicated to making technology simple and stress-free.

Troy grew up in San Diego before moving to Idaho to pursue his education, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications. With a strong ambition to build a career in marketing, he started as an intern with the Idaho Falls Chukars, an experience that ultimately led him to agency ownership. He successfully ran his own insurance agency until 2022 before transitioning to a new chapter with TruLeap Technologies, where he hopes to build a long and fulfilling career.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys staying active, whether playing softball, golfing, or spending quality time with his family.

Juan Ruiz

Systems Analyst L2

Juan has a love for good food, with tacos, hamburgers, and breakfast among his favorites. A passionate sports fan, he follows the NBA, NFL, and college athletics. He pursued his studies in Network Systems Technology at CSI, building a strong foundation in his field.
Juan enjoys working on his yard and spending quality time with his wife. He also hopes to visit Rome while exploring Italy one day, embracing his love for travel and new experiences.

Jason Hompland

Systems Analyst L2

Jason grew up in the Jerome area and developed an early interest in technology, taking A+ and Network+ courses during high school. He applied this knowledge by building custom computers and hosting LAN parties, making the most of dial-up internet at the time. After graduating, he joined Dell Computers when the company opened in Twin Falls. In 2004, he transitioned to an I.T role at Cactus Pete’s before joining the TruLeap team in September 2023.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors and crafting custom knives.

Zachary Calderon

Service Desk Analyst L1

Originally from San Diego, Zachary developed a passion for technology early on, fascinated by how it continues to shape everyday life. He quickly became the go-to person for friends and family, always ready to troubleshoot and fix any tech-related issue.
In the spring of 2022, he joined the TruLeap team as a Tier 1 technician for the ISP service desk, where he puts his problem-solving skills to work helping customers with their technology needs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether gaming, fishing, or enjoying the outdoors. He also has a sense of humor about life’s simple pleasures—He loves short walks to the fridge, drinking piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

Cody Staup

Service Desk Analyst L1

Cody developed a passion for technology in his teens while building gaming computers. After pursuing a career in law enforcement, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 2016, serving six years on active duty and two more with the Oregon Air National Guard. In 2024, he transitioned to civilian life, earned his A+ certification, and joined the TruLeap team while pursuing a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity at Western Governors University.
In his free time, he enjoys gaming, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three sons. He’s also a devoted University of Oregon football fan and an avid player of Destiny 2, Diablo 4, and Escape From Tarkov.

Aaron Kincaid

Field Service Technician
Aaron is a skilled Field Service Technician at Truleap with 23 years of IT experience. A Magic Valley native and Valley High School graduate, he is currently pursuing a Cyber Security degree at Western Governors University. An avid reader and fan of Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Heidi, and their children. Their lively home includes four cats and two dogs, ensuring there is never a dull moment.

Jesse started her journey studying mechanical engineering and diesel mechanics before finding her passion in engineering and project management. She thrives on tackling technical challenges, focusing on the details, and ensuring projects are completed successfully from start to finish.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys hands-on creativity, using her laser cutter, 3D printer, and vinyl cutter to bring ideas to life. Based in Hagerman, ID, she appreciates the balance of professional growth and personal creativity in the place she calls home.
