Sun Outages May Cause TV Interference

If you experience brief TV interference – a few minutes per channel – during the first half of October, it’s probably due to sun outages. They’re caused by a phenomenon known as “solar satellite interference,” and occur when the sun passes directly behind the satellites that transmit cable TV signals.
